Many highways, Expressways, and other routes make the connectivity of India stronger. There are several projects which will be implemented this year and some are under process.
One such project is the Expressway connecting Badlapur, Dombivli to Mumbai. Once this project gets operational it will make the travel easier for the commuters and solve traffic-related issues to an extent.
This route will benefit the residents of Mumbai who are dealing with traffic on roads. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has started planning for this road.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority is carrying out development projects over 6,000 square Kilometers in the Greater Mumbai area. This includes around 12 metro lines, two sea bridges, three connectors, several flyovers, and various connecting routes.
The aim of this is to make a direct route, by giving alternate modes of transportation to the Mumbaikers. Now they have a basic mode of transportation that is the local trains that run there.
Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has issued tenders to create a Detailed Project Report for this expressway. This will enhance connectivity in the region. It will connect Badlapur, Ambernath, Ulhasnagar, Kalyan, and Dombivli to Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
