Good News For MP Govt Employees: CM Mohan Yadav Approves 3% DA Hike

Earlier, the chief minister held a review meeting of the state’s security in the backdrop of the Pahalgam terror attack. He also mentioned that more than 17 crore people have been brought out of poverty in India in the last ten years.

It came as good news for all the state government employees after Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav announced the approval of an additional installment of 3% dearness allowance from July 1, 2024 and 2% from January 1, 2025, for all the state government employees.

CM extends congratulations

The chief minister also extended congratulations to those who will get the benefits of the announcement.

Earlier, the chief minister held a review meeting of the state’s security in the backdrop of the Pahalgam terror attack. He also mentioned that more than 17 crore people have been brought out of poverty in India in the last ten years.

CM reviewed state’s security

Yadav said, “I took a review meeting of the police work, be it law and order, security arrangements for the festivals, and the steps being taken to eliminate naxalism in the state.” He also said, “In the last 10 years, more than 17 crore people have been brought out of poverty in India, and it reflects the welfare schemes of our government under the leadership of PM Modi.”

UP Govt already hiked DA

On April 9, the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government announced a two-per cent increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees, effective January 1, 2025, from 53 per cent to 55 per cent.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath also posted about the announcement on X and said that the decision would benefit around 16 lakh employees.

‘Interests of state employees is top priority’

He emphasized that protecting the interests of state employees is the government’s top priority.
“In the same sequence, today it has been decided by the Uttar Pradesh Government to increase the Dearness Allowance being given to the State employees at the rate of 53% to 55% from January 1, 2025. Around 16 lakh employees will benefit from this decision. Hearty congratulations to all of you!” CM Yogi said.
