The development team plans to build a railway terminal at Bodaki in Greater Noida as part of a massive infrastructure initiative. On Saturday, PMO Deputy Secretary Mangesh Ghildiyal visited the site to oversee the project’s progress. He instructed officials to accelerate construction activities.
Multi-Modal Transport And Logistics Hub
The railway terminal is located within a 478-hectare area where developers constructing both Multi-Modal Transport Hub (MMTH) and Multi-Modal Logistics Hub (MMLH). Regional transportation receives a major boost through the integration of railways, a bus terminal, and a metro system within the transport hub.
The new terminal will serve as a base for trains traveling to eastern India, helping to regularly decongest Delhi, New Delhi, and Anand Vihar terminals. A bus terminal serving interstate transport will be added as a component within the transport hub, as reported by Junaid Akhtar.
Expansion Of Noida-Greater Noida Metro
The Noida-Greater Noida Metro line expansion project includes extending service to the Multimodal Transport Hub for improved accessibility. TLocal bus transit services are also planned to commence from this hub. The industrial freight movement at the logistics hub will be streamlined through its facilitation system.
The Greater Noida Authority states that this project will make workplaces more efficient and cut down commute time for both passengers and businesses.

Faster Delivery Of Goods
This initiative maintains special importance for industries operating within Noida and Greater Noida in addition to those based on the Yamuna Expressway. The current shipping duration for goods to reach Mumbai and Gujarat is four to five days. The new logistics network will operate at a rate that lowers delivery times down to 1.5 days.
Completion Timeline
The logistics hub includes warehouses that will enhance the streamlining of goods movement. The Greater Noida Authority aims to finish the transport and logistics hub project within three years as actual construction activities have started.
