A new expressway will soon be added to the list of upcoming projects in the country. This route will link Delhi to Jaipur and will be beneficial for the commuters. According to media reports, the Delhi-Jaipur expressway is likely to be completed by June 2025. Once this project gets operational, it will cut travel time and make the journey smoother for the commuters. The NHAI has announced that the section between Bandikui and the Jaipur Ring Road is nearly ready. Once completed, it will provide direct access to Jaipur via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
The new 67 km link road connecting the Expressway to Jaipur is set to be completed by June, reducing travel time by half compared to the current duration. The planned six-lane Delhi to Jaipur drive will be covered within two and a half hours because the expressway receives permission to operate at 120 km per hour speeds. One needs to utilize the old NH-21 road to reach Jaipur after departing from this location.
The journey from Delhi to Jaipur forces vehicles to ascend the distance between the entry points of Gurugram and Faridabad through the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway until reaching Dausa district. A traveler must follow the traditional NH-21 route when seeking routes to reach Jaipur from this location. Multiple villages and small cities lie along the 4 -lane route. The majority of places experience congestion because of this condition. The travel from Dausa to Jaipur requires 2 to 3 hours for the approximately 100-kilometer journey.
