The murder of Karni Sena’s President, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, in Jaipur has left numerous unanswered questions. The police findings haven’t convinced people yet because the person that the officials accused of conspiring against the Chief met the same fate as Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi and the murderers are absconding. Now the question is, who provided accurate information to the police?
The murder was meticulously planned. Gogamedi and Naveen Shekhawat were present, engaging in conversation when suddenly, two boys sitting nearby stood up and started shooting rapidly. The attackers aimed at Gogamedi, hitting him in the chest and later in the head before fleeing. Naveen, who brought the murderers to Gogamedi’s place, also fell victim to the crossfire, dying in the incident.
Rohit Godara, a gangster from Rajasthan, claimed responsibility for Gogamedi’s murder on social media. He accused Gogamedi of conspiring against him and got him killed as revenge. This case is being viewed as a gang conflict due to the involvement of multiple gangsters. However, on Wednesday, a video from Rohit Godara’s account was posted on X where Godara vehemently denied his involvement and the murder and claimed that his name was being misused.
The police’s claims about Naveen conspiring the murder don’t seem as believable as he became the target. And his motive or connection to the accused attackers remains unclear. Many speculate that Naveen might have known the attackers were there to harm Gogamedi but didn’t anticipate being targeted himself.
The CCTV footage revealed a sudden burst of violence, with 17 rounds fired in just 20 seconds. Gogamedi, Naveen, and security personnel were shot, creating a chaotic and devastating scene.
