Two consecutive murder attempts in Ghaziabad last night have shocked the residents. The police have been investigating the matter to determine the reasons behind isolated incidents. Amid the investigation, the constabulary have been analyzing all the nuances of the alleged murders. To ensure that the criminals are apprehended promptly, a city-wide manhunt has been launched.
As per the information shared by the police based on prima facie evidence, these were two isolated incidents where husbands allegedly took the lives of their wives. The first incident was reported from the Modinagar Thana area, in the village of Gadana. Here, Swati resided with her family. Last night, the couple had a scuffle, following which the husband took her life.
Another incident was reported from Loni Ankur Vihar, where a similar case occurred. As per media reports, a husband took the life of his partner after a quibble. The shrieks from the incident alarmed the neighbors, who soon called the police. The husband, who is the alleged murderer, absconded from the spot. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
The police are trying to trace the whereabouts of the miscreants and have been examining CCTV footage from cameras in the area. They have also been questioning the families about the relationships and what could have led to such an incident.
