Car catches fire on Delhi-Meerut Expressway

Delhi-Meerut Expressway: A car burst into flames on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway near Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and further details are awaited.

In a separate incident, a school bus reportedly caught fire at around 7.32 am on November 14 in Ghaziabad’s Kaushambi area. The air-conditioned bus of a Co-ed School in Preey Vihar, Delhi was parked behind Sri Sri Residency. As it prepared for departure with 15-16 schoolchildren, the bus suddenly burst into flames.

Upon receiving information, the chief fire officer of Vaishali Fire Station rushed to the spot with a firefighters team and two fire tenders. Fortunately, the children were quickly rescued and taken to a safe zone and the firefighters started extinguishing work. No casualties from the tragic incident were reported and the children’s families were informed.

In yet another similar incident, four minors sustained severe burn injuries following a mishap that took place in the Kanksha Rice Mill of Durgapur, West Bengal.
