Uttar Pradesh being the fourth largest state area wise has many expressways connecting the cities in the state. Another route is going to be added in the list of expressways of the state. A 380-km long expressway is going to be made that will connect Noida and Kanpur.
The route will benefit multiple districts of Uttar Pradesh. The expressway will be connected will 9 districts of the state. The route will be named Ghaziabad-Kanpur expressway. This will benefit the commuters who will be using this route.
As per media reports, the work of expressway is expected to get completed by the year 2026.
As per media reports, the expressway will be a greenfield expressway. Some of the industrial centers will be built here. The expressway will be having four lanes.
The Ghaziabad-Kanpur expressway will give ease from traffic and congestion related problems. It will be saving time of commuters who will be using this route. It will take around 5 hours 30 minutes to reach Kanpur from Ghaziabad.
The northern portion of the expressway will be connected to National Highway 9. On the other end, the southern portion of the expressway will be connected to 62.7-km long Kanpur-Lucknow expressway. The expressway enhances the connectivity between the districts.

The expressway will be connecting following districts Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannaujj, Unnao and Kanpur.
