Ghaziabad police registered a case of sexual harassment and assault against 400 people after a woman alleged that she was harassed by them late Sunday night. Police said the woman, who resides at a high-rise society in Ghaziabad, alleged that on Sunday around 11.45 pm, she heard that people from the nearby adjacent society were shouting out loud.
After waiting for more than an hour, when loud voices did not stop, she went to check and protested. She alleged that as she requested them not to shout out loud, people gathered and allegedly sexually harassed her and assaulted her by pulling her hair.

Later, the woman dialled police on 112 and filed a complaint against them. Nangram Police in Ghaziabad registered a case against nearly 400 unidentified people, including women, and started an investigation.

However, it was alleged that the incident took place when the woman was feeding stray dogs and residents stopped her from doing so. The woman also alleged in the FIR that people suspected her as a kidnapper who had come to kidnap children. Police are investigating all the allegations.
