According to sources, Sachin Pilot informed the Congress leadership that Ashok Gehlot’s suggestion of backing 10 to 20 MLAs is an attempt to distract my attention. In a meeting with the Congress leadership, Sachin openly opposed Gehlot and stated that the secret opinion of the MLAs should be considered for the position of Chief Minister, which Gehlot will not receive.

According to sources, Sachin Pilot told the Congress high command that if the majority votes in support of Ashok Gehlot, he will not demand a change of leadership and will contest the elections under Gehlot’s leadership.
