A shocking incident has been reported in Jalandhar. According to the information, there was a sudden leakage of ammonia gas in the Metro Milk Factory located in the Surgical Complex, which created panic in the entire area.
According to sources, immediately after the gas leak, there was an atmosphere of panic in the factory. At that time, about 30 to 40 people were present in the factory, who got trapped inside due to the gas. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, relief and rescue teams were immediately called to the spot.
The relief team reached the spot and inspected the situation and started rescue operations to safely evacuate the people trapped inside. People are being evacuated with the help of a crane by breaking the wall of the factory. Due to the leakage of ammonia gas, people in the surrounding areas have been altered so that any kind of loss of life can be avoided.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, senior officials of the administration and police also reached the spot. The medical team has been kept alert so that the injured can get immediate treatment if needed. At present, the causes of the gas leak are being investigated and efforts are on to control the situation.
