New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the G20 Summit will chart a new path in human-centric and inclusive development.

Ahead of the summit, PM Modi said that they will work collectively towards further strengthening gender equality, women empowerment and ensuring world peace.
Recalling Mahatma Gandhi, PM Modi emphasised on human centric approach of development, stating that the Ghandhi Ji’s mission to serve the underprivileged people of the society holds great importance in further strengthening the progress.
Taking the matter on X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote, “India also places great emphasis on a human-centric way of furthering progress. It is important to emulate Gandhi Ji’s mission of serving the underprivileged, the very last person in the queue.”

PM Modi informed that the G20 summit will accelerate the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Green Development Pact for sustainable future and strengthening Multilateral Institutions for the 21st Century.
He said that the group of leaders will prioritise the futuristic sectors including technology and digital public sector infrastructure.
