Fugitive businessman Lalit Modi’s brother, Samir Modi, was arrested by the Delhi Police on Thursday in connection with a rape case. He was taken into custody at the airport upon his return from abroad.
According to the Free Press Journal, he was arrested in a longstanding case that was under investigation and was taken to the New Friends Colony police station.
News agency IANS reported that he was produced before the court, which remanded him to police custody.
