Action Taken by the Karnataka Police
Preliminary reports suggested that the fire was caused by a short circuit. However, after the investigations revealed Nadeem’s involvement, he was taken into custody for questioning. A senior police officer confirmed, “Nadeem was frustrated because the scooter was always developing problems and the staff at the service centre was very negligent, which prompted him to commit the act.” Based on a complaint, the police have booked him under relevant sections, and further legal action will follow accordingly.
