Pawan Kalyan, renowned as the Power Star in Telugu cinema, has finally realized his long-cherished dream of entering the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. After two unsuccessful election attempts, the 2024 elections marked a significant victory for Kalyan and his Jana Sena Party. Now poised for a substantial role in the new government, Kalyan’s victory also highlights his personal life, particularly his relationships with his three wives.
First marriage with Nandini
Before making his film debut in 1996, Pawan Kalyan attended the Satyanand Acting Institute in Vishakhapatnam, where he met Nandini. They married in a traditional ceremony in Hyderabad a year after his debut. However, their marriage quickly soured, with Kalyan accusing Nandini of abandoning him and their home, a charge she denied. By 2001, the couple had separated, and Kalyan had moved in with his co-star, Renu Desai.
In 2007, Nandini filed a bigamy case against Kalyan, alleging he had married Renu Desai without divorcing her. Kalyan’s legal team contended that he and Renu were in a live-in relationship, not married. The court dismissed the case due to insufficient evidence. Subsequently, Kalyan filed for divorce, and in August 2008, they finalized their separation with Kalyan paying Nandini a ₹5 crore alimony. After the divorce, Nandini reportedly moved to the US, and little is known about her current life.

Pawan Kalyan and Renu Desai had an eight-year live-in relationship before marrying in 2009. They had a daughter, Aadya, in 2010. However, their marriage ended in a formal divorce in 2012. Despite the separation, Renu has mentioned maintaining a friendly relationship with Kalyan.
Third Marriage with Anna Lezhneva
In 2013, Kalyan married his third wife, former Russian model Anna Lezhneva, whom he met while working on the film ‘Teen Maar’. The couple has two children: Mark Shankar Pawanovich, born in 2017, and Polena Anjana Pawanova, Anna’s daughter from her previous marriage.
