From Arvind Kejriwal To Atishi-See How They Reacted On BJP’s Victory

BJP has won this assembly election by a huge margin. BJP is back in the national capital after 27 years. Speaking on the result the leader of Aam Aadmi Party reacted.

Delhi held its Assembly Elections on February 5, 2025. The counting for the same started today February 8, 2025. The Bhartiya Janta Party has bagged 48 seats, whereas Aam Aadmi Party got 22 seats.

Here are the reactions of AAP leader:

Speaking on the result AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal stated, “We accept the mandate of the people with great humility. I congratulate the BJP for this victory and I hope they will fulfil all the promises for which people have voted them. We have done a lot of work in the field of health, education, and infrastructure in the last 10 years. We will not only play the role of a constructive opposition but will also remain among the people and continue to serve them.”

AAP candidate from Patparganj seat Avadh Ojha stated that, “It’s my personal defeat. I couldn’t connect to people… I’ll meet the people and will contest the next election from here.”

He also stated that, “I want to congratulate my party, the workers, people of Patparganj and the leaders for expressing confidence in me… I secured second position, but next time, I will try to bring myself to the top. The only mistake I did was that due to lack of time, I could not meet people personally, but still, I take full responsibility of the defeat.”

Outgoing CM & AAP leader Atishi stated that, “I thank the people of Kalkaji for showing trust in me. I congratulate my team who worked against ‘baahubal’. We accept the people’s mandate. I have won but it’s not a time to celebrate but continue the ‘war’ against the BJP.”

AAP candidate from Jangpura constituency, Manish Sisodia stated that”Party workers fought well; we all did hard work. People have supported us as well. But, I lose by 600 votes. I congratulate the candidate who won. I hope he will work for the constituency.”
