New Delhi: Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Tuesday constituted a four-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the entire conspiracy of escape of Gangster Deepak Tinu from police custody in Mansa.
Tinu, who is a member of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was arrested for allegedly shooting singer Sidhu Musewala. He had fled from the custody of the CIA unit of Mansa police early on Sunday.

The SIT will work under the supervision of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Patiala range MS Chhina, while three members include AIG Amarjit Singh Ghuman, SSP Mansa Gaurav Toora and DSP Bikramjeet Singh Brar.
DGP Yadav maintained that no person will be spared and that the investigation will be concluded expeditiously.
