New Delhi: German airline company Lufthansa on Monday has issued a clarification in the delay of a flight tat was bound to Delhi from Frankfurt Airport. The information in this regard was given by Twitter handle of Lufthansa Media Relations.

Giving information in this regard from its official Twitter handle, Lufthansa Airlines’ Public Relations Department has said that, “Our flight from Frankfurt to Delhi departed later than originally planned due to a delayed inbound flight and an aircraft change. Best regards”

Meanwhile, the other political outfits had blamed Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for the delay of this flight. They have alleged that the flight coming from Frankfurt to Delhi was delayed due to CM Mann being “too drunk”. However, the Aam Aadmi Party has been denying these allegations outright from the beginning.

AAP calls propaganda

AAP termed it as false and petty propaganda by political rivals. At the same time, Punjab Chief Minister’s Office officials had informed that CM Mann could not board this flight due to sudden health problems.

Now after the tweet of Lufthansa Airlines, AAP has come down heavily on the opposition for hatching a conspiracy to defame a state and its Chief Minister.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Malvinder Singh Kang said that the opposition should apologise. “They have been spreading all kinds of lies since Sunday. He made false allegations against the CM of Punjab. He has no qualms in defaming the name of the state by targeting the CM.
