Five Vande Bharat express trains: Indian Railways on Friday launched the fifth Vande Bharat Express. Prime Minister Narendra Modi kick started the fifth Vande Bharat train at Bengaluru’s KSR railway station in Karnataka. The train will travel 497 kilometres between Chennai, Bengaluru, and Mysuru, taking 6 hours and 40 minutes at an average speed of 74 kilometres per hour.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) are currently operating five Vande Bharat Express trains. One route connects New Delhi to Katra (22439/40), the second connects New Delhi to Varanasi (22435/36), third connects Mumbai Central to Gandhinagar Capital (20901/20902), the fourth connects New Delhi – Amb Andaura (22448/22447) and the fifth connects Chennai to Mysuru (20608 / 20607).
Vande Bharat Express Routes, timings, Fare
- The New Delhi-Varanasi (22435/36) train starts from New Delhi Railway Station and covers Kanpur Central and Prayagraj Junction before reaching its destination at Varanasi Junction.
The Vande Bharat Express comes with two seating options – Chair Car (CC) and Executive Class (EC). Here are the fares:

The fare for Varanasi-New Delhi journey by executive chair car will be Rs 2,925, while that for chair car will be Rs Rs 1,440
2. The New Delhi-Smvd Katra (22439/40) train starts from New Delhi Railway Station and covers Ambala Cant Junction, Ludhiana Junction, Jammu Tawi before reaching its destination in Katra.

The fare for New Delhi-Smvd Katra journey by executive chair car will be Rs 2,925, while that for chair car will be Rs Rs 1,440
3. The Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar(20901): The train will depart from the Mumbai Central station at 6.10 am and reach Gandhinagar at 12.30 pm. For the return journey, the train will depart from Gandhinagar at 2.05 pm and arrive at Mumbai Central at 8.35 pm. It will halt at Surat, Vadodara and Ahmedabad stations in both directions.
Fare
The fare for Mumbai-Ahmedabad journey by executive chair car will be Rs 2,505, while that for chair car will be Rs 1,385.
4. The New Delhi Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express train (22447) runs between New Delhi (NDLS) to Amb Andaura (AADR). The 22447 New Delhi Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express train leaves New Delhi at 05:50 hours and reaches AADR station at 11:05 hours on the 1st day of departure.

5. Vande Bharat Express Train Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru (20608 / 20607) will run on this route: Chennai Central, Bengaluru City and Mysuru Junction. It will cross Perambur, Veppampattu, Vellore Katpadi Junction, Gudupalli and Malur railways stations. Vande Bharat Express Chennai to Mysuru will run 6 days a week. It will not run on Wednesday. Vande Bharat Express will depart from Chennai Central at 05:50 am.
