First Flatted Factory In Greater Noida To Be Built Near Noida Airport, ₹125 Crore Project To House 100+ Units

The first flatted factory in Greater Noida is set to be built near the Noida International Airport in Sector 28, as part of a ₹125 crore project.

The construction of a flattened plant in the Yamuna City area next to the future Noida International Airport has been expedited by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). Sector 28 of Yamuna City will house the project, which aims to strengthen the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. The development is anticipated to be finished in two years at a total cost of ₹125 crore, according to officials.

A multi-story industrial structure that houses several small-scale production facilities under one roof is called a flatted factory. For small business owners, this creative idea offers substantial benefits by enabling more effective use of available space and pooled resources. In the Greater Noida area, this will be the first project of its kind.

Over 100 industrial units are anticipated to be housed in the 38,665 square metre flatted facility. To further boost the region’s economic potential, a Medical Device Park will be located in the same sector. According to Dr. Arun Vir Singh, CEO of YEIDA.

The project demonstrates the government’s goal to assist small enterprises by centralising all necessary amenities under one roof, including air conditioning, elevators, firefighting systems, water supply, and electricity. In addition, the facility will have CCTV security and eco-friendly architectural features.

It is anticipated that the initiative will draw investors and create job possibilities. Additionally, because business owners from places like Jaipur and Mumbai would find it easier to commute to and from the location, the construction of such a sizable industrial cluster close to the Noida International Airport is probably going to increase passenger traffic. For air access, the majority of industrialists currently rely on Delhi Airport.
