The annual pilgrimage to the revered Mata Kheer Bhawani shrine has officially commenced, with the first batch of devotees from Jammu arriving in Tulmulla, Ganderbal district. This significant event marks a time of spiritual reflection and bless full gathering for the Kashmiri Pandit community.
Upon arrival, the pilgrims were warmly welcomed by officials and local people of the Ganderbal, who greeted the devotees with flowers, setting a festive and sacred tone for the occasion. The district administration has implemented comprehensive arrangements to ensure the safety, comfort, and smooth stay of all devotees.
“From security deployments to sanitation and healthcare facilities, we have meticulously planned every detail to support the influx of devotees,” said Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Jatin Kishore. “We are committed to providing all necessary support to ensure a peaceful and enriching pilgrimage experience.”
Devotees expressed their heartfelt gratitude upon reaching the shrine. Anil Raina, a pilgrim from Jammu, shared his sentiments: “It feels like homecoming. The welcome and arrangements have touched our hearts. We feel safe and blessed.”
