On Thursday evening, people in Gurugram’s Sector 45 panicked. Five unknown attackers fired 25–30 shots at the office of the property firm MNR Buildmark near the Millennium City Centre Metro Station. On Thursday (September 19), at about 9:20 pm, five masked gunmen climbed the main gate of MNR Buildmark near Millennium City Centre Metro Station. They fired 25 to 30 bullets, breaking the glass windows of the building. They also damaged a luxury car parked inside before running away. Police reached the spot quickly, sealed the area, and called forensic teams to check the site. More than 30 bullet shells were found there.
CCTV footage from the office and nearby places is being checked to find out who the attackers were and how they escaped.
Gangster Deepak Nandal posted on social media that he was behind the firing. He said the target was Rohit Raheja, a partner in the firm. A portion of the post in Hindi read, “Greetings to all, I am Deepak Nandal, who got the firing done at MNR. The reason is that Rohit Raheja’s relative Nitin Talwar has been withholding my money since 2019, along with his accomplices. This is a warning to all; whoever withholds my money and troubles me will be killed”.
