Northern Railway has decided to launch a special Vande Bharat train service between Delhi and Patna to accommodate the increased passenger traffic during the festive season. This service will operate from October 11th to November 15th, offering passengers a fast and convenient journey.
Festive Season Travel Will Now Be Easier
Northern Railway Chief Public Relations Officer, Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, stated that this initiative was taken to address the increased passenger traffic during the festive season. He said, “These special Vande Bharat trains are being run to handle the increased travel load during the festive season, providing passengers with a safe and comfortable journey.”
Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Train: Timings and Route Information
Train number 02252 (Delhi to Patna) will run every week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and will run a total of 16 times during the festive period. The train will depart from New Delhi at 8:35 am and arrive in Patna at 9:30 pm, completing the journey in less than 13 hours.
The train will stop at Aligarh, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar, Buxar, and Ara stations along the way.
In contrast, Train No. 02251 (Patna to Delhi) will commence service from October 12, running every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The train will depart from Patna at 10 a.m. and arrive in New Delhi at 11:30 p.m.
Amenities and Passenger Capacity
Railway officials said this special Vande Bharat train will operate with 16 coaches, designed to accommodate more passengers and provide them with better comfort and safety.
