In a tragic turn of events in Agra, UP, a 38-year-old woman, Kavita Chahar, stands accused of orchestrating the brutal murder of her ex-boyfriend, Brajveer Singh, aged 40. The incident unfolded when Singh allegedly expressed disapproval of Chahar’s new relationship with another man.
Chahar, residing in SR City Colony, had a tumultuous history with Singh, including a decade-long live-in relationship that began in 2007. Her involvement with Surendra Chahar later sparked tensions, culminating in Singh’s imprisonment in 2019 after he set fire to Surendra’s clothing store, based on testimony provided by Kavita.
Upon his release from jail, Singh reportedly warned Kavita against continuing her relationship with Surendra, escalating tensions between them. Feeling harassed and threatened, Kavita and her accomplices allegedly planned Singh’s murder. On June 15, a meeting was arranged where a heated argument ensued. Subsequently, Kavita and her accomplices—identified as Surendra Chahar, Atul, Rohit, and Sonu—viciously attacked Singh with a baseball bat, causing severe head injuries. They also smashed a beer bottle over his head before disposing of his body near the Rohta canal, as detailed by Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Sonam Kumar.

The police swiftly arrested Kavita and her four accomplices, charging them under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
The case has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the consequences of complex relationships gone awry. As the investigation continues, authorities aim to bring justice for Brajveer Singh and uphold the law against those responsible for his untimely demise.
