New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi Friday walked down the road with the family of slain Journalist Gauri Lankesh in Karnataka’s Mandya district.
Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter for sharing a picture of him with mother Indira and sister Kavita saying that he will stood with the ones like Gauri Lankesh who “stood for Freedom.”
Wrote the Congress MP on Twitter: “Gauri stood for Truth, Gauri stood for Courage, Gauri stood for Freedom. I stand for Gauri Lankesh and countless others like her, who represent the true spirit of India. Bharat Jodo Yatra is their voice. It can never be silenced.”

Journalist-turned-activist Gauri Lankesh was found dead outside her house in Rajarajeshwari Nagar on September 5, 2017.
Gandhi entered Karnataka on September 30. His visit will last till October 21 in the state. It is worth noting that the state is bound to go for polls next year.
