The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday rejected reports claiming a 15 % cut in the syllabus of class 10 & 12 students in the 2025 board exams. Besides, it also denied reports suggesting plans to conduct open-book exams for selected subjects.
The board clarified that there was no change either in the syllabus or the evaluation system and examination policy. This came after certain news outlets circulated reports that the CBSE has decided to reduce the syllabus for board exams.
