Exit Polls 2024: Chhattisgarh was a hot seat for the BJP even when they lost the state in the 2018 assembly elections. It is the state where the BJP bagged 9 out of 12 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections whereas the Congress party was reduced to mere two seats. What have the voters of Chhattisgarh chosen in 2024?

For the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as per this analysis, 59% ± 3% of voters have chosen the BJP whereas 33% ± 3% have opted for the Congress party on the EVM. Voters of this state might shower all the seats on the BJP where the current analysis says 11 ± 1 seats for the saffron brigade and 1 ± 0 for the INDI alliance.

BJP might see a spike in this state as it seems to get 10-11 seats whereas the INDI alliance might have to settle for 0-1 seat out of 12 seats in total.

This is the second state ruled by the BJP where the party is gaining momentum compared to the 2019 general elections.
