Raziya, the wife of Shehzad, who was arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan, admitted in an exclusive conversation with News24 that her husband had gone to Pakistan several times. According to ATS, businessman Shehzad was also involved in providing sleeper cells for ISI under the cover of trading goods.

Raziya, wife of Shehzad from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, who was caught on charges of spying for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, made several revelations. In an exclusive conversation with News24, Raziya admitted that Shehzad had gone to Pakistan multiple times. According to Raziya, her husband Shehzad went to Pakistan several times to buy ladies’ suit fabric. Along with this, she also said that false charges are being made against her husband.
It is worth noting that Uttar Pradesh’s Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested Shehzad on charges of spying for Pakistan. Shehzad is also accused of illegal smuggling of cosmetics, clothes, and spices between India and Pakistan. There is also an accusation that he was involved in providing sleeper cells for ISI under the cover of trading goods and was engaged in anti-national activities.
What did ATS say?
According to UP ATS, based on confirmed information, Shehzad son of Abdul Bahab was arrested at the Moradabad border in Rampur district. According to ATS, Shehzad had good relations with agents of the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, with whom he was in constant contact. Shehzad also shared confidential information related to India’s security with agents of the Pakistani intelligence agency. After confirming this information, the ATS team took Shehzad into custody and registered a case at ATS police station, Lucknow.
Worked on ISI’s instructions
The ATS investigation revealed that Shehzad provided money to their agents present in India several times as per the instructions of the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Shehzad sent people from Rampur and various parts of UP to Pakistan under the pretext of smuggling to work for ISI. The visas etc. of these people were also arranged by agents of the Pakistani intelligence agency. The accused also provided Indian SIM cards to the agents of the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI for spying against India.
