Maharashtra Politics: An Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has reached the residence of Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut in Mumbai. According to news agency ANI, Sanjay Raut may be taken into custody for questioning.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid at Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s residence is being carried out in connection with the Patra Chawl land scam case

An investigation is underway against Sanjay Raut in a money laundering case related to the Rs 1034 crore Patra Chawl scam. The ED has issued summons to him several times. But for one reason or the other, Sanjay Raut is not appearing before the ED.

Earlier, he had sought more time from the ED to appear before it, citing the ongoing campaign for the Vice-President’s election. Sanjay Raut is the main accused in this case.

A purported audio clip of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut is going viral on social media. The state government has taken this matter seriously. It is being told that the Maharashtra government has ordered the police department to investigate the clip. In this case, the concerned victim woman has also lodged a complaint with the police.
In the Patra Chawl case and regarding this clip, the victim woman has also lodged a complaint with the ED.

In the purported clip, it is clearly heard that Sanjay Raut is threatening the woman concerned in connection with the name of the land and is also heard abusing her.
Regarding the audio clip, the woman alleged that Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut threatened and abused her over the land. In this purported audio clip, it can be heard how abusive language was used against the woman.
