New Delhi: An earthquake of 3.5 magnitudes occurred in Ladakh on Wednesday evening, said National Center for Seismology.
The tremors of the earthquake were felt at 6:54 pm at the depth of 10 km. There is no information about any casualty or damage yet. People have been asked to be alert.

Earlier on Tuesday, earthquake tremors of 4.6 magnitudes were felt in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The epicentre of the earthquake was Campbell Bay, 140 km from Port Blair. Its depth was 60 km.

The earthquake also occurred in Papua New Guinea
An earthquake occurred in Finschhafen, Papua New Guinea, located near Tibet and Australia. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the earthquake measured 4.3 on the Richter scale. The earthquake occurred 33 km northwest of Finschhafen, Papua New Guinea.
There was an earthquake in Papua New Guinea on Monday as well. A powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck northwestern Papua New Guinea. After this, a tsunami alert was also issued.
