The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported that Meghalaya's West Khasi Hills District experienced a 3.3 magnitude earthquake on Monday. According to the NCS, the earthquake's epicenter was situated at Latitude 25.60 N and Longitude 91.31 E, with a depth of 5 kilometers. The NCS posted on X, stating, "An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale occurred on 10/06/2024 at 02:23:04 IST, with the epicenter located at Lat: 25.60 N, Long: 91.31 E, and Depth: 5 Km in West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya." Earlier, on May 14, the NCS reported a 3.1 magnitude earthquake hitting Meghalaya's West Jaintia Hills District.

According to the NCS, the earthquake's epicenter was at Latitude 25.17 N and Longitude 92.13 E, with a depth of 25 kilometers. The NCS shared on X that an earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale occurred on 14/05/2024 at 07:49:07 IST, with its epicenter located at Lat: 25.17 N, Long: 92.13 E, and Depth: 25 Km in West Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya.
