In Varanasi, UP, you can now enjoy a stunning underwater fish tunnel similar to those in Singapore and Dubai. This new tunnel, located at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, features over 50 fish species under one roof. For the first time, tourists can explore this attraction, which will be open for the next two months starting today.
Made to give a Dubai-Singapore like feel
In this fish tunnel, you can see a variety of fish including catfish, peacock bass, albino fish, parrot fish, lionhead fish, and angelfish. Ravindra Trivedi from Mahakal Enterprises mentioned that the tunnel houses many fish species from around the world. Stretching 600 feet, this tunnel is claimed to be the largest fish tunnel in India.
Ravindra Trivedi mentioned that the entry fee for the fish tunnel is Rs 100, but children under 5 can enter for free. The tunnel is fully air-conditioned. Shubhi, who visited the tunnel, said it was her first time seeing such a tunnel and she enjoyed it very much.
Sunil Kumar shared that he had never seen such a beautiful fish tunnel view before. He had only seen it on TV and YouTube, but today he is seeing it in person. Visitors can explore the fish tunnel from 4 pm to 11 pm.
