Drugs Valued Over ₹1,800 Crore Seized From Factory Near Bhopal; Two Arrested

Bhopal: A large-scale drug operation led to the seizure of MD drugs and their production materials, valued at ₹1,814 crore, from a factory located near Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Two suspects have been arrested as part of this operation.

Joint Operation by Law Enforcement

The operation was a collaborative effort between the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Delhi. Gujarat’s Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi, announced the details through a post on X, praising the effective coordination between the agencies.

Significance of the Seizure

Sanghavi highlighted that MD drugs are synthetic substances that mimic the effects of stimulants such as methamphetamine. Encouragement for Ongoing Support

The minister reiterated the importance of supporting law enforcement in their endeavors to combat drug-related crimes. He stated, “Let’s continue to support them in their mission to make India a safest and healthier nation,” reinforcing the commitment to improving the country’s security and well-being.
