DRDO’s UAV crashes during trial in Karnataka, confirms officials
Bengaluru: Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) on Sunday crashed in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district during a trial.
According to news agency ANI, the ‘Tapas’ drone crashed in a village in Chitradurga district.
DRDO and the Defence Ministry confirmed the incident. The officials said that the specific reasons behind the accident would come out after the probe. Officials will soon reveal other information related to the UAV and accident. No harm was reported due to the crash.
