  3. Enter your PAN number and Aadhaar number, then click Validate to link your PAN with your Aadhaar.

  1. Visit the Income Tax e-Filing portal – [click here].
  2. Click on “Link Aadhaar Status.”
  3. Enter your PAN and Aadhaar details.
  4. Click View Link Aadhaar Status to check whether your PAN and Aadhaar are linked.

How to Check Aadhaar–PAN Link Status via SMS

  2. Send the text to 567678 or 56161.

You will receive a confirmation message about the status of your Aadhaar–PAN link.If you are using the SMS method, make sure your mobile number is registered with your Aadhaar and PAN. This is a mandatory step to prevent the deactivation of your PAN.

The deadline for Aadhaar–PAN linking is December 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM. After this, your PAN will be deactivated from January 1, 2026, as the new year begins.
