A productivity-linked incentive has been authorized for state government employees in accordance with a directive from the Chief Minister that was issued by the Finance Department. The maximum monthly emoluments limit of ₹7,000, which is determined by taking 30 days’ worth of emoluments, will be used to give this bonus. This means that each eligible employee will receive ₹6,908 in benefits. “This financial benefit before Diwali will bring joy and enthusiasm to the employees’ families and infuse new energy into governance and administration,” the Chief Minister stated.

With a total cost of about ₹1,022 crore, this decision will benefit roughly 15 Lakh state government employees. To guarantee that all families may joyfully celebrate this event, the Chief Minister has ordered that bonuses be paid to eligible employees on time.

State employees, employees of state-funded technical and educational institutions, employees of district panchayats and local authorities, and in-charge and daily-wage employees of government departments are all included in this. Notably, on September 29, 2025, the Indian government also decided to offer incentives for the fiscal year 2024–2025.
