Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar city, a woman’s steadfast refusal to vacate an area reportedly led to a horrifying attack by several shopkeepers. This brutal incident unfolded on August 12, where a heart-wrenching video has since gone viral, leading to the arrest of four individuals involved.
The disturbing footage shows the woman sitting near a shop when a man forcibly drags her and she is quickly surrounded by a group of at least a dozen individuals.
Despite one man’s plea not to harm her, another proceeds to assault her, even kicking her in the face. Shockingly, another man joins in, striking the screaming woman with an iron rod.

Lokesh Sinha, the Additional Superintendent Of Police in Sagar, reported that the video gained widespread attention on Thursday afternoon. Authorities made efforts to identify the woman but were initially unsuccessful.
Sinha stated that they took immediate action by registering an FIR and apprehending some of the culprits. The police aim to record the victim’s testimony once her whereabouts are confirmed. Preliminary investigations reveal that the attackers were shop owners in the area who resorted to violence when the woman refused to leave.
