Content creator Abhinav Arora, who was being trolled for carrying a calfskin leather bag at the Prayagraj fair, has now decided to stop carrying such a bag to the Maha Kumbh.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Abhinav Arora’s father, Tarun Raj Arora, clarified on his behalf, stating, ‘The bag in question is made of fabric canvas, not calfskin. I don’t use leather at all, even in my footwear. I will never do that in my lifetime.’
Why Was Abhinav Getting Trolled?
In previously viral videos and images circulating on social media, Abhinav was seen carrying a Dior bag at the Maha Kumbh fair on February 12. According to reports, the bag, which went viral, is worth more than Rs 3 lakh.
The creator faced backlash because, in Sanatan Dharma, the cow is considered a holy animal, and devotees of Lord Krishna are not expected to carry such items.
