Delhi’s AQI Stays ‘Very Poor’ with 350-400 AQI Levels; Social Media Users Call It ‘Horrendous’

A social media user has reacted to this AQI condition in Delhi. He posted, saying, “350~400 AQI , absolutely horrendous”. A layer of smog engulfed the Red Fort & surrounding areas on Sunday as the AQI in Chandni Chowk was recorded at 207, which is categorized as ‘poor’ according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). However, the AQI across Delhi dipped into the ‘Very Poor’ category in several areas today.

There is no such major change in maximum and minimum over Delhi/ NCR in last 24 hours. The maximum temperature in Delhi is in range of 30-32 °C. Whereas, the minimum temperature in Delhi is in range of 15-20 °C.

350~400 AQI , absolutely horrendous. Are we actually supposed to live like this??? If this countinues literally everyone will get lung cancer.

There came multiple reactions on the condition by social medial users. A user mentions, “first time ?!! . no we going to die like this”. The user is raises a question by mentioning “first time” as his reaction to the condition. He shows the fear for the environment.

Another user mentions, “I don’t think most Indians actually care about things like pollution because these are the issues that actually matter”. He raises a question for Indians where he says that, Indian don’t care about things like pollution because such things really matter.

A user, shares his opinion in a a comparative way by saying, “Aaj hi kashmir sai wapis aya lungs are crying”. He means that I came back from Kashmir today, and my lungs are now crying facing the air condition here. He is comparing Kashmir and Delhi in his comment.

A user delivers a comment in a filmy way, saying, “Yeh delhi hai meri jaan…….bas pollution hi pollution”. Where he tries to say that all we get in Delhi is pollution.

A user comments by giving advice, saying” Pollution ko kam karo – apni ego and carelessness ko side karke”. Similarly, another social media user, says, “it time to pack up bag and live somewhere else for 6 months”.

A user gave advice to people living in Delhi, saying, “Bhai first ask delhites to use less cars per family. Many just buy SUVs to satisfy their ego”.
