Heavy Rainfall In Several Parts Of Delhi-NCR; Roads Left Waterlogged

Thick clouds cover Delhi-NCR early on Friday. While some areas experienced rain accompanied by gusty winds, others faced issues like waterlogging.
The weather department has forecast generally cloudy skies with light to moderate rainfall in Delhi over the upcoming five days.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature soared to 37.6 degrees Celsius, which was four degrees above the season's average, while the minimum temperature recorded was 27.8 degrees.
According to Skymet, a private weather forecasting agency, the national capital and its surrounding regions are anticipated to witness additional downpours due to a low-pressure area likely to move inland. According to the report, changes in wind patterns, particularly the predominance of easterly winds over the Indo-Gangetic Plains are also seen extending up to Delhi in the lower levels. Additionally, with the southward shift of the Monsoon trough, will bring rain to Delhi and NCR.

Skymet anticipates the chances of rain persisting for the next 4-5 days, with mostly light rainfall and isolated areas possibly experiencing moderate showers.
Their report from Thursday predicted increased showers on Friday, September 15, and Saturday, September 16, as the system moves closer to Delhi, resulting in more rain during this period. Favorable conditions for light rains are expected to continue through the weekend.
