Delhi is currently submerged in heavy rainfall, causing significant distress to people since morning. The rain has created havoc for those heading to schools and offices. Amidst all this, a video is rapidly going viral on social media.
The video features Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav. His staff members and others are helping him reach his car due to the area around his residence being completely flooded with water.

Ram Gopal Yadav stated in conversation that the NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council) was not prepared. The rain came late, yet they did not clean the drains. If the drains had been cleaned, such a situation would never have occurred.

Around 5 AM this morning, Delhi and neighboring cities experienced their first monsoon showers. Heavy rain poured down accompanied by strong winds and thunder. The downpour lasted for about an hour, completely inundating the capital. However, the rainfall intermittently stopped and resumed at around 2:30 AM. By 5 AM, approximately 150 millimeters of rain had fallen within three hours.
In Safdarjung, there was 228 millimeters of rainfall in the last 24 hours, leading to an incident at Delhi Airport today. The roof of Terminal 1 collapsed, trapping a car underneath. Four people in the car were injured, with one fatality occurring during treatment at the hospital due to severe injuries.
