Artificial Intelligence has become integral part of everyone's life. This is because the AI is everywhere from mobile phones to Watches, the AI is controlling almost each and every newly built gadgets.
But with advancement in technology the scammers are also getting updated. They are now using Artificial Intelligence to fool people and loot them.

A post is shared by Delhi Police on their X handle, where they have alerted the people by informing them about this new variety of scam.

They wrote that, "Scammers are using AI to mimic voices and trick you into sending money! Don’t trust urgent calls blindly, always verify first."
In that post they explained how this scam works. They mentioned the following points under this:
- Scammers collect voice samples from social media or calls.
- Al clones the voice and makes fake distress calls.
- You get a call from a familiar voice-maybe family or a friend.
- They create urgency: "Send money now!" or "I'm in danger!"
- Victims panic and transfer money instantly.
- But it's NOT them! It's Al mimicking their voice
To avoid such incident Delhi police through its post advised to limit sharing personnel information online. They advised people to have a family-safe word for emergencies.
