Delhi Police Seize 500 kg Of Cocaine Worth ₹ 2,000 Crore

Four individuals were taken into custody following a raid in South Delhi.

In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, authorities in Delhi have seized over 500 kg of cocaine, valued at approximately ₹ 2,000 crore. This is being hailed as the largest drug seizure in the national capital’s history.

Four Arrested in South Delhi Raid

Following a raid in South Delhi, four men were arrested in connection with the massive drug bust. Police have indicated that an international drug smuggling syndicate is responsible for the consignment.

Recent Drug Arrests in Delhi

This major bust comes shortly after two Afghan nationals were arrested in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Sunday, with authorities recovering 400 grams of heroin and 160 grams of cocaine from their possession.

Cocaine Seized at Delhi Airport

On the same day, customs officials at Indira Gandhi International Airport seized 1,660 grams of cocaine, valued at over ₹ 24 crore, from a Liberian passenger who arrived from Dubai. The passenger was arrested under the NDPS Act, 1985.

Investigation Ongoing

Authorities have stated that further investigations are underway to determine the full extent of the international syndicate’s operations and other potential links.
