New Delhi: In a recent update on Twitter child pornography case, the Delhi Police has raided several raids across the nation and arrested 3 accused.
The Delhi Police has established a team of 8 people who carried out the investigation. This comes after the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) lashed out at the Delhi Police for not taking the matter seriously.
As reported earlier, the DCW had summoned the Delhi Police and Twitter India seeking answers over its action against those who were peddling child abuse and assault videos on Twitter.
The commission claimed that it had found out that videos of children engaging in pornography were circulating on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the Twitter has informed the DCW that ‘everything is going good’. However, unsatisfied with its answer, DCW Chairperson Swati Maliwal has instructed it to take appropriate action at the latest.

Taking to the Twitter, Maliwal shared few pictures as evidence saying the matter will be taken to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Meliwal slammed the Twitter for having a casual attitude towards the matter. She said, “Subsequent to our expose, Twitter deleted some videos on their platform. However there are still thousands of #ChildPorn and rape videos available on Twitter. We are sending these links to CBI for action.”
