The national capital and most of northern India is currently experiencing warmer daytime these days followed by the colder nights leading to an uneasy situation for the people residing in the region. Additionally, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that northern India is all set to witness the similar weather on February 17 and 18.

Delhi – IMD forecast
Weather conditions from February 18 to 21 will witness a major shift, said weather department.
“The western Himalayan region is expected to witness rain, hail, snowfall, and thunderstorms during the next four days,” predicted IMD adding that Punjab is also likely to experience light to moderate rainfall with gusty winds during the same, while Rajasthan is expected to see rain on February 19.
The weather department also predicted that Haryana and the western part of Uttar Pradesh (UP) may witness rainfall between February 19 and 21 and then it will abate thereafter.
Earlier IMD predictions
Additionally, the earlier IMD projections that the national capital will witness light rainfall on February 14-15 did not materialize. Apart from Delhi, rainfall predictions are also been done for Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh which did not stand correct.

According to the Skymet weather, light rain and snow in the Himalayan region, Uttarakhand, and Arunachal Pradesh is predicted in the upcoming days, while the southern India, majorly Tamil Nadu, is also expected to experience some rain following the same period.
