Delhi-NCR Weather Today: Will Rain Affect Chhath Festivities? Check Forecast for Delhi, Noida, and Gurgram

Delhi Weather Today

Mornings will be relatively cool, around 24°C—ideal for a short walk before pollution levels build up. The afternoon will warm up to 31°C, and by night, temperatures will ease to around 25°C. Humidity levels will fluctuate throughout the day, starting at 34% in the morning, dropping to 17% by evening, and rising again to 50% at night.

Noida Weather Forecast

Noida is also expected to witness misty mornings, with temperatures ranging between 24°C and 31°C. The air quality remains in the very poor category with AQI around 350, making outdoor activities unsafe. Humidity levels are likely to stay high at 85%. No rainfall is expected, and winds from the east-northeast at around 6 km/h will offer limited relief from pollution.

Gurgaon Weather Forecast

Gurgaon will see a similarly hazy sky with mild warmth, with temperatures hovering around 25.3°C to 32°C. Visibility will drop slightly in the early hours due to mist. The AQI is expected to remain above 340, reflecting poor air quality across the NCR belt, with 0% chances of rain.

Cyclone Montha

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has tracked a deep depression over the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to intensify into Cyclone Montha by October 28. The IMD has issued red alerts for Andhra Pradesh districts including Kakinada, Konaseema, West Godavari, Krishna, Bapatla, Prakasam, and Nellore. Tamil Nadu and Odisha are also under rainfall watch.

West Bengal may see heavy rain between October 28 and 31, with districts like Kolkata, Howrah, and Purba Medinipur affected.

An orange alert has been issued for Maharashtra’s Dhule, Nandurbar, and Nashik districts for thunderstorms and gusty winds up to 50 km/h.
