The Commission for Air Quality Management on Wednesday withdrew GRAP-IV restrictions for Delhi-NCR and nearby regions after a noticeable improvement in air quality over the past few days.
Delhi-NCR AQI LIVE: The Commission for Air Quality Management on Wednesday lifted GRAP-IV restrictions in Delhi-NCR after a noticeable improvement in pollution levels over the past few days. In its notification, the panel said the air quality has improved since last night, with the AQI moving from the “severe” category to “poor” at 271.
However, even though GRAP-IV has been withdrawn, Delhi is still under GRAP-I, GRAP-II and GRAP-III measures. The Commission has decided that these steps will continue for now despite the improvement in air quality.
