The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Delhi-NCR amid predictions for heavy downpours on September 12. The weather conditions might gradually change after September 14, as per the IMD predictions. The weather change hasn’t only dropped the mercury but also caused waterlogging and traffic jams in multiple parts of the national capital region. The Dadri-Lal Kuan Marg in Noida has witnessed waterlogging after heavy downpours on Thursday morning. While the traffic police are on the spot for the smooth facilitation of vehicles, it’s better to avoid this route unless necessary.
For those who need to commute to and from Gaur City 1 or 2, and are skeptical due to the bad weather, there’s a green light for you as the Noida traffic police has facilitated the smooth passage of vehicles in the area.

Travelling towards Najafgarh Road should be avoided if possible as the road towards Tilak Nagar is affected due to the breakdown of an LGV near the district centre Janakpuri.
Not just LGV breakdown, traffic in the Najafgarh area is also affected due to ongoing work by BSES near metro pillar no. 681. Hence, it’s better to avoid this route in rain.
Heavy waterlogging on GT Karnal road towards Azadpur Chowk and Mubarka Chowk has affected the movement of vehicles. One should plan their route accordingly.
Travellers might witness heavy traffic on MB road towards Mehrauli due to potholes and severe waterlogging caused by rain.
