Since the morning, Delhi-NCR has witnessed light rain. Whether hilly areas or plains, rain has once again commenced everywhere. On Tuesday, light showers were observed in and around Delhi. Some places witnessed overcast skies and a change in weather due to cool breezes.
The weather department has issued a ‘yellow alert’ for the national capital and its adjoining areas, warning of scattered showers later in the day. Temperatures are very likely to reach a maximum of around 36 degrees Celsius and a minimum of about 27 degrees Celsius.
A low-pressure system forming in the Bay of Bengal is going to further threaten some states with heavy rainfall and flooding. At the same time, Delhi-NCR continues to be on high alert for rainfall today. Clouds will bring showers to 10 states, including Uttar Pradesh.
The weather department issued the latest update, mentioning that Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, central Maharashtra, and Odisha can be at the receiving end of heavy rainfall on Wednesday. Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan may have heavy rain up to July 26.

Rainfall In Northern India
The IMD forecast “fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall” during the next five days in Northeastern India. The department has issued an orange warning for heavy rainfall at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh for the next four days until July 27. They Forecast above-normal temperatures and high humidity over the next two days in Chandigarh and Punjab.
According to the weather bulletin, other parts of north and south Odisha will experience light to moderate rainfall over the next two days, with similar conditions expected on July 25 and 26. The IMD has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in North Goa and South Goa districts during July 24 to 25.
