Republic Day 2025: Delhi Metro Timings, Service Hours & More – Details Inside

The DMRC has encouraged commuters to plan their journeys in advance and utilize the early metro services to avoid last-minute rush

Republic Day 2025: As the nation celebrates 76th Republic Day Today, Delhi Metro has announced revised timings for the Republic Day services. To facilitate smooth commuting for the public who are heading for Kartavya Path for the Republic Day ceremony, DMRC began services at 3 AM on January 26, 2025. According to DMRC, the metro trains will operate at a gap of 30 minutes and will continue to run on its earlier schedule thereafter.

Special exit coupons will be available for passengers traveling to Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan metro stations. To obtain these coupons, passengers must present valid e-invitation cards or tickets along with a government-issued photo ID at the metro station. The coupons will also be valid for the return journey. Attendees with enclosures numbered 1 to 9, V, and V2 are required to alight at Udyog Bhawan station, while those holding enclosures numbered 10 to 24 and VN should deboard at Central Secretariat station, facilitating direct access to Kartavya Path. In-train announcements will assist passengers in reaching their designated stations.

Will There Be Delhi Metro Services On Republic Day?

There will be Delhi Metro services on Republic Day and its services will start from 3:00 am in the morning of January 26 across the lines.
Metro timing will commence from 3:00 am and trains will be available in the gaps of every 30 minutes till 6:00 am in the morning. Regular timing will follow after 6:00 am.

Is The Travel Free On Republic Day

Delhi Metro will offer free rides exclusively to individuals holding passes for the Parade. The DMRC has encouraged commuters to plan their journeys in advance and utilize the early metro services to avoid last-minute rush.
